I wish I could tell you what lies ahead…

Dear one,

I wish I could tell you what lies ahead, but everyone goes through their own journey. At least, that’s what I know… In some sense, that is what you know too. This too, has been your experience, in that, everything you were told turned out slightly different from what your were preparing for. And because of that, you found that it helps to have your own intuition right there with you. Your own wisdom, not the one borrowed from another person.

No one’s map is as valuable as your own inner guide.

If you let it show you, especially when the mind cannot stop asking what’s the next right step, you will most likely find yourself closer to the right path. The right path for you. As long as you stay the right course, the precise next step does not matter. Your intuition is your compass. The compass does not tell you what steps to take, nor which direction to go.

Its job is to help you get to where you have decided to go.

Begin developing connections to your intuition sooner rather than later. You will learn to trust it, as the experience itself will show you. Start small and trust it with things less intimidating. Then go daring and bold, and follow your gut feeling on something more important. While you may fear that this way you will commit some serious mistakes, you may be surprised to find that – on the contrary – you’ve discovered the most fitting solution. Using intuition also lets your mind to rest.

Give the mind a chance to rest, so it can step fully forward on those rare occasions when pure logic is required.

Some of those who’ve traveled before you, call this guide the inner voice, but I would caution you first to get to know it really well. Don’t listen blindly to anything you hear inside you. Some of these voices are echoes of other people’s ideas. The only voice to listen to is the one that truly supports you. Otherwise, it is hard to tell it apart from the mind’s projections. Like the sirens, a worried mind can call you to the shore too soon and bring your journey to an abrupt end.

Learn to hear your heart instead. In it — is the breath of life.

One beat at a time. One purpose per action. And maybe these words will make a difference too. You know, I have no loud voice, I cannot make you stop and listen, but my daily presence is hidden in your heartbeat, and is always there. Whenever you ask for me, I am here.. Always here, like the breath… Ever-present, but rarely at the center of your consideration. As long as you keep it within reach of your peripheral vision, you’ll find it easily accessible when you need it.

Attend to it, at least each morning.

Be still enough to hear its support.

To do that, wake up before your mind does.

And you will see that everything you need — you already have it within you,
