PORTOMEA jewelry is made with glass. That’s right! It is made with Miyuki and Toho Japanese micro glass beads. These are the highest quality precision-cut beads in the industry, and they are quite small!
The creation of every piece of PORTOMEA jewelry is a handmade process. Every single bead is added to the final adornment by hand, and takes time to complete. More details about the process are available in the About the Process section.
PORTOMEA is a made-in-the-USA brand. All PORTOMEA jewelry is produced by the designer in her studio in Massachusetts, with the help of another artisan.
Beadwork care is pretty simple. Please check the “Owner’s Manual” in the Customer Care section of this site.
